Saturday Brunch with Matthew Hughes from PTPI, January 30th, 10 am at Overland Park Christian Church

Members and friends of the Dialogue Institute shared a meal and conversation on the morning of Saturday, January 30, at Overland Park Christian Church. After the meal, Matthew Hughes, manager of Global Education Programs for People to People International(PTPI), offered a look into PTPI’s founding by U.S. President Dwight Eisenhower, its mission of Peace through Understanding, its global network of chapters and members, and its local efforts in Kansas City. Among other projects, Matthew highlighted the upcoming Kansas City Global Student Fair, a new event that aims to show metro area students just how global Kansas City is by bringing together internationally oriented businesses and organizations, university programs, ethnic and cultural groups, arts groups, and museums at Union Station on Tuesday and Wednesday, April 12-13, 2016.
